Hickman Family Farms recognizes Sun City Elks
Comments 0 | Recommend 0On Aug. 5, Sharman Sylva of Hickman Family Farms presented the Sun City Elks Lodge 2559 with a handpainted egg in recognition of the charitable contributions to the Arizona Elks Major Projects, namely the Steele Memorial Children's Clinic in Tucson.
The clinic is supported by all the Elks lodges in Arizona, and more than $4 million has been contributed since 1991. It is a part of the University of Arizona Medical College, primarily engaged in research of children's diseases and neonatology.
The Hickman Family Farms support many charitable drives for the clinic, including a recent golf tournament. The Hickmans cooked breakfast for the players, sponsored some holes, provided gifts and prizes for the players.
