Vista del Rio plans senior health fair
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A variety of health, safety and well-being information for seniors will be available at a Seniors Health Fair sponsored by Vista del Rio.
The health fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 22 at 13619 N. 94th Drive in Peoria. A variety of local physicians and health care providers will be available to answer questions, provide screenings and distribute information about many health and safety topics, including healthy eating, injury prevention and maintaining an independent lifestyle. In addition, each of the health fair participants will provide a door prize, and Vista del Rio will present a grand door prize.
Vista del Rio is an independent retirement community offering spacious apartment suites, three nutritious, chef-prepared meals each day, weekly housekeeping, transportation to doctors' appointments and pharmacies, banking and shopping and other scheduled outings, and an activity calendar full of stimulating and engaging activities.
