Clinic adds digestive disease specialist

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Daryl Hutchinson has joined the Clinic for Digestive Diseases and the Sun City Endoscopy Center.

Hutchinson joins five other doctors in the group of physicians, who specialize in diseases of the digestive tract and see patients at two Sun City locations.

Hutchinson recently completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Detroit Medical Center of Wayne State University in Detroith. A "fellow" indicates the physician has received three years of focused, specialized education following three years of residency training after graduation from medical school.

The doctor did his undergraduate work at Oswego State University in Oswego, N.Y., and received his doctorate in medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, N.A. In addition to his training in gastroenterology, Hutchinson is also board-certified in internal medicine.

The clinic has locations at 14300 W. Granite Valley Drive and in Royal Oaks Plaza at 13203 N. 103rd Ave., where the affiliated outpatient surgery center is also located.
