Hawaiian luau sails into Thunderbird Retirement Resort

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Chart a course to the Thunderbird Retirement Resort from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 22, when a Hawaiian luau docks at the Glendale retirement community.

For a taste of the Hawaiian Islands, cruise by Thunderbird Retirement Resort, 5401 W. Dailey St., one block north of Thunderbird Road at 53rd Avenue in Glendale.

Thunderbird Retirement Resort will offer the community a taste of the Polynesian culture with a free Hawaiian luau featuring an array of island cuisine and tribal dances.

Hula dancers decked in native costumes will sway to the pulsating rhythm of the islands. Tribal dancers ignite the spirit of the islands as dynamic fire dancers twirl flames and swallow fire.

For tours of Thunderbird Retirement Resort, call the marketing department at 602-588-1487 or 602-588-1486 or visit www.thunderbird-resort.com for information.
