Labor Day concert planned for park
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will feature Jan Rittmaster at its free Labor Day concert on Sept. 1 in Beardsley Park.
Rittmaster will entertain with a variety of music and comedy beginning at 7 p.m. Performing with her will be Wayne Kindall, a singer, actor and a resident of Sun City West; Ron McCollor, another Sun City West resident, known for his comedy and vocal style; and Kent Parry, a drummer, harmonica player and vocalist who has played many years on the road, including in Las Vegas.
Parry and Rittmaster have known each other since they performed together in the Jan Parker Trio in Michigan.
The event is free and open to the community. Attendees are invited to bring a chair or blanket to sit on during the concert.
